You are wondering why there isn't a caption posted today. There is a good reason why.
12 years ago today, the United States of America suffered through the biggest tragedy of our times, when it was attacked by terrorists from the al-Qaeda terrorist network. Boeing 767s from American and United Airlines were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center, while an American Airlines Boeing 757 crashed into the Pentagon, and a United Airlines Boeing 757 crashed in a farm field in southwest Pennsylvania. We lost an estimated 3,000 people that day; one of those was a transgender woman named Karen Vix.
Lest we forget those who lost their lives on that tragic day in 2001.
Thank you for remembering in this way. I would wish that other members of this community would do the same. No matter what style their blogs take. Fantasy or otherwise. Again, I would thank you for your bold stance.
